AseeksB is built around the idea that users should be in control of who sees their posts and who can contact them. Here is exactly how that works — and what happens when things go wrong.
Most of AseeksB's safety architecture is proactive — designed to prevent bad interactions before they happen, not just react to them after.
When you post an ad, you set audience filters: who by gender, age range, and distance. Only users who meet your criteria can see the post at all. People outside your filters simply don't see it.
Posting an ad does not open your inbox to everyone. You can require senders to include a photo, write a minimum-length message, or both. Anyone who does not meet your requirements cannot send you an opening message.
A sender can send exactly one opening message. They cannot send follow-ups, reminders, or additional messages until you, the poster, choose to reply. This eliminates the message-flooding problem common on other platforms.
If you require photos in opening messages, the app enforces this technically — the sender cannot submit a message without attaching a photo. It is not an honor system. Photos must also be of the poster, not stock images, which is enforced through photo guidelines and community reporting.
All posts must meet a minimum character count and comply with post guidelines. One-word posts, posts that are only advertising social media handles, and posts that violate content standards are not allowed and will be removed.
Before you reply to anyone on AseeksB, you can see their post, their gender, age, distance, and location — and any photos they attached to their opening message. You are under no obligation to reply, and you can block or report the sender without responding.
The following is not allowed on AseeksB. Violations are subject to post removal, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity:
From the bulletin board, tap the flag icon on any post to report it. Reporting a post removes it from your feed immediately and submits it to AseeksB admins for review. If the post violates guidelines, it is removed from all users' bulletin boards.
Inside any message thread, swipe left on the unopened thread. You will see options to unmatch, block, or flag. Flagging reports the user to admins and blocks them simultaneously — they can no longer see your posts, and you cannot see theirs. All related active threads are unmatched.
This is one of AseeksB's most deliberate design choices. On most platforms, once someone unmatches you, the ability to report disappears. On AseeksB, you can report a message thread even after the other user has unmatched you. This removes the escape hatch that bad actors rely on across other platforms.
After a report is submitted: the reported post is removed from all users' bulletin boards, the reported user is blocked from your account (and vice versa), and AseeksB admins review the account for further action. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent bans.
Spam and scam activity on personal ads platforms typically follows predictable patterns. AseeksB addresses each of them structurally:
Yes. Blocking hides all of their posts from you and all of your posts from them, and unmatches any active threads between you. It does not report them to admins. If you want to report as well as block, use the flag option instead — it does both.
No. Hiding a post removes it from your bulletin board permanently (including if the poster renews it), but it does not block the poster. The poster can still see your posts and potentially message you if they respond to one of your ads. Use block or flag to prevent all contact.
Yes. When you block a user, neither of you can see the other's posts, regardless of search settings. It is mutual and immediate.
Editing a post unmatches all related message threads and refreshes the post. If a previously reported user edits and reposts content that violates guidelines, they can be reported again. Admin-reviewed accounts flagged for serious violations are reviewed more closely on resubmission.
